Triple Science including Physics have proved to be very successful in achieving excellent progress for students of both high and middle ability choosing that pathway. The department provides support from staff during the course both during lunch breaks and after school; we value the hard work from our students and always want to be on hand to assist where needed. We also run revision sessions for internal tests, mock examinations and external examinations. These include Easter revision for GCSE. Students studying triple science often wish to embark on science based careers and the staff advise on university pathways and possible routes to achieve these aims. |

Physics can be found in many fields of work actively contributing to the development of the world in which we live. Employers today respect and seek out people who have learned to think logically, know how to solve problems, can handle numbers and theories, are creative and love a challenge. These are exactly the sort of skills you will develop through a study of Physics.
Students follow the Edexcel Level 3 Advanced GCE Physics syllabus (9PH0). Specification number: 9PH0 Link to the specification website : www.edexcl.com Further Specification information: Pearson Education Limited, Edinburgh Gate, Harlow, Essex CM20 2JE. ISBN 978 1 4469 1445 8
