Stepping into the world of Sixth Form, being a part of FBA’s supporting community has given me the freedom to pursue and develop my dreams in ways no other college could provide. With academic foci on Biology, Chemistry, and English Literature, FBA has allowed me to grab hold of a future in Medicine from year 11 and assisted in guiding me through step-by-step into year 12, making the challenges worthwhile throughout the transition.

Upholding the KRACERS values throughout the entirety of the curriculum, I have personally experienced each and every aspect of them from year 7 to year 12. The teachers thoroughly embody these, assisting in the development of students’ growth, both mentally and emotionally. They shape lessons in order to mould students into the best versions of themselves, allowing us to overcome obstacles in a plenitude of ways in order to gift us the ability to articulate our own path for the future. Moving from year 11 to year 12 highlights a challenge unlike any other and is one that FBA has made simple and smooth like butter.

Being an all-girls school, FBA promotes and values individual success in ways that allow us to feel empowered, confident, and strive for the best. From the extensive extra-curricular activities, the societies and sports, to the leadership roles that emphasise on key skills needed for the world at large, there is something for everyone to feel comfortable in themselves and a part of this amazing community. On the mention of the world at large, the school offers several trips to reward efforts and expand our horizons, with potential excursions abroad to Spain for those studying Spanish or Iceland for those studying Geography. Each one memorable and unforgettable, much like my time here at FBA.

As I reflect on my time here, and the time to come, I am grateful for the support that the school has provided through all of the hardships I had to overcome throughout FBA. I am excited to see what the next few years have in store for me and how the school will continue to assist me to become an ideal version of myself; Being apart of FBA and continuing to stay on at sixth form has been the best decision I have made, from the friendships, teachers and lessons to the unforgettable experiences that the school has offered me with, and for that I will always cherish my time here.
