When I found out I had been accepted into FBA, I was so delighted. Since FBA is very close to my house, I felt proud and independent walking to and from school on my own.

Not only was I happy to be nearby but I was excited about the opportunity to making new friends. I was also looking forward to wearing my FBA school uniform and be ready for the first day of secondary school.

Before starting, I attended the induction day, which was a tester day where we met our form tutors. I really enjoyed the induction day and we even took part in some lessons. On that day alone, I made three new friends and met lots of other different people while taking part in different activities.

When I officially started in September, I was both excited and nervous however, I was looking forward to see my new friends again and once I became used to the school, these nerves quickly disappeared.

Everyone was so friendly, even the teachers!
FBA encourages girls like me to be resilient, articulate and creative. I am really enjoying my time here and I can’t wait to continue my journey at FBA for the next seven year and fulfil my dreams.
