Weather & School Closure

Sometimes, extreme weather conditions force the closure of the school. It is not always possible to anticipate such situations but when it is decided to be necessary to close the school, the following procedures will be followed.

• A message will be given out on BBC Essex Snowline on channel frequency 103.5 and 95.3 FM, or 729, 765 or 1530 MW, announcing the school closure. 
• If a number of schools are closed, details will be published on bbc.co.uk/essex, but please do not email requesting information.
• A message will appear on this website when school closures occur.

Please check if the school remains closed on further days by the above means.
